Upcoming Events
Prayer and Fasting
Everyone is
encouraged to come together in
our church-wide time of fasting
(consuming only liquids until 5:00 p.m.) and prayer
that occurs each Monday. We are fasting and
praying for unity within our family and for God’s
direction and empowerment for the ministry of
Calvary. To Him be the glory!
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday:
On January 29, we will be
celebrating the intrinsic value
of human life. As part of the
celebration, we are collecting
some needed items for Bethany Christian
Services, an organization that counsels and
helps young mothers who have decided to
give the gift of life to their unborn children.
Bethany Christian Services is in need of
diapers (sizes NB and 1), baby wipes, baby
shampoo, baby wash, baby lotion, bottles,
receiving blankets, sleepers and onesies
(sizes 0–3 through 9–12 months). All items
must be new. Also, gift cards to Walmart,
Target, and Meijer are greatly appreciated.
Donated items can be placed in the crib in
the Lobby (today through January 29). Thank
you for taking this opportunity to reach out
to others with compassion and God’s love.

Preschool through 12th Grade
Open House is on Thursday,
February 9, at 7:00 p.m. This Open House is
designed for families interested in exploring
Christian Education for their children. Come
and celebrate the vision, tour the classrooms,
view the curriculum, and talk with the teachers.
