On Sunday, December 20, the Elders announced to the congregation that Dave Riddle is now a candidate for the Teaching Pastor position at Calvary Baptist Church. Please read below for information on Dave as well as a timetable for this process. A special business meeting in order to vote will be on Sunday, February 7.

Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics (1990): Ohio Dominican College, Columbus, OH
Master of Divinity (2001): Winebrenner Theological Seminary, Findlay, OH
Previous experience:
- Elem3nt church, Blissfield and Adrian, MI, 2001-2009, Senior Pastor.
- Emmanuel Community Church, Ft. Wayne, IN, 1999-2001, Pastoral Intern.
- Hillsdale United Brethren Church, St. Mary's, OH, 1998-1999, Solo Pastor.
- Otterbein United Brethren Church (now New Horizons UB Church), Rockford, OH, 1993-1998, Senior Pastor
Dave was first licensed as a pastor in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ in 1990, and was ordained in the same church in 2001.

Congregational question and answer sessions

Wednesday, January 6, 7:00-8:30 PM, Choir Room

- Sunday, January 17, 5:00-6:30 PM, Auditorium
Meetings with Ministry Staff and Support Staff during week of January 4.
Meeting with Deacon and Regent boards Sunday afternoon January 10.
Meeting with College students January 17, 7:30 PM.
Dave will be speaking Sundays except December 27 throughout the process.
A special business meeting has been schedule for Sunday, February 7 to vote for Dave as Teaching Pastor at Calvary. Voting will open at 9:15 am with the business meeting at 4 pm (voting will close at 4:15).
