Backpack Rally

Join our Calvary volunteer team at CDC’s Backpack Rally on Saturday, August 23, 10am-12pm as we distribute our collected backpacks and help prepare over 600 students with what they need to begin a new school year: Jesus and supplies!

Backpack Project!

We’re partnering with Central Detroit Christian to provide 100 backpacks for kids in need. Participating is easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Grab a tag from the church lobby or using the link below.

  2. Purchase a backpack and supplies using the lists provided.

  3. Bring your backpack to the church lobby by August 17!

 

Upper Elementary Girl or Boy

  • New backpack (no wheels)

  • One 1.5" Three-Ring Binder

  • One wide ruled, 1 subject notebook

  • One pack wide ruled filler paper

  • One manual pencil sharpener

  • One box 24 count crayons

  • One 12" ruler

  • Two small glue sticks

  • One pencil holder/pouch

  • Two 2-pocket folders

  • Six #2 pencils (pre-sharpened)

  • Six medium ballpoint pens

  • One pair of scissors

  • One 2-gallon clear storage bag

  • One standard size bottle hand sanitizer

Middle School Girl or Boy

  • New backpack (no wheels)
