November 2026 Prayer Focus
Hopefully you remember from last month that I'm encouraging you to pray different “families” in your life, asking the Lord to show you who needs your prayer in a special way--either your immediate family, your extended family, your church family, or families in your neighborhood or workplace. With Thanksgiving at the end of this month, perhaps it's your extended family that needs your prayer. For the Holy Spirit to give them light in whatever darkness they may be experiencing, for relationships, or whatever specific needs you know about. Find a verse or short passage to pray for them this month.
I also want to invite you to join us for the 2026 Calvary Women Christmas Gathering--Monday, December 7th, 6:30-8:30pm in the CBC Lobby and Auditorium. This event is an opportunity for all Calvary women and guests to be a part of an evening of refreshment and purpose in the midst of the holiday season. This year--continuing with our ministry year focus on trusting God--we'll hear from a panel of women in different seasons of life about trusting God through ALL the seasons of life. We’ll enjoy some snacks, dessert, and a coffee/tea/cocoa bar at tables in our lobby hosted by various Calvary women. Then we’ll come together in the auditorium to sing some Christmas carols and hear from our panel. You can join us as a guest or as a table hostess. (Special request: If you have 3 or more women you want to sit with, please consider being a table hostess!) This is a fantastic opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family to join together with our Calvary family. The cost is $5 per person and registration for the event will begin online Tuesday, November 17th and in the lobby on Sunday, November 22nd.
