At Calvary, Volunteers are the heart and soul of our ministry. We have plenty of opportunities to serve – whether for a one-time event or on a routine basis – and we trust that you’ll be able to use your gifts and abilities to strengthen the body of Christ.

Calvary Kids Wednesday Preschool - 2 year olds, Wednesday nights during the school year - contact carrie.macklem@cbcjoy.org.
Language Learning Drivers - Pickup Afghan students in Westland for Language Learning class on Wednesday nights and then drive them home. Contact bobbielee@cbcjoy.org.
Central Detroit Christian Breakthrough Enrichment - Support kids 1st-5th grade during after-school hours Mon/Tues/Wed. Contact bobbielee@cbcjoy.org.

Volunteers who desire to work with Calvary Kids or Calvary Students must have attended Calvary for at least 6 months and have attended our Calvary Partnership Class. Please contact bobbielee@cbcjoy.org if you’re interested in our Partnership class.
We conduct background checks on all volunteers, 18 years or older, who are working with minors.
Leadership Teams/Boards require a nomination through our nominations process which occurs each winter.
