LOVE GOD!
Our normal rhythms slow down during the summer, and this is a great time to create rhythms of diving into God’s Word as a family. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 provides a solid foundation for us as parents hoping to lead our children to love Jesus. These verses describe a way of life. Focusing on our children learning about God’s love for us in Jesus Christ through the rhythms of ordinary life.
For June, July, and August we will be sending home weekly activity packets on Sunday that will give you tools and activities to grow in LOVE of God as a Family. We want to do this every week ALL summer so we can create a lifelong rhythm of loving the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind!
LOVE OTHERS!
Instead of our usual Adventure Days, we are going to focus on LOVING OTHERS in our every day life! We want to focus on building authentic relationships and sharing your faith through your actions, words, and lifestyle with the people you interact with every day who need the LOVE of Jesus.
During June, July, and August, as part of our take home activity packets on Sunday, there will be a focus on intentionally LOVING OTHERS. We want to do this every week ALL summer so LOVING OTHERS AND sharing the Gospel becomes part of our regular DNA.
We will also be having an event each month that you can INVITE the families in your every day life to come ALONG with you and give you opportunities for relationship building and intentional gospel conversations all while having fun together!
Lets Do It Together!
We are going to work TOGETHER this summer. We will have a clear bin at the Calvary Kids Information desk.
Every week the kids will stop by to “earn” different color pom poms for all the LOVE they share (for example: bringing back their take home packet, bringing their Bible to church, loving others, etc.).
Our goal is to FILL the bucket with all the ways we LOVE God and LOVE Others this summer! We are working towards earning an end of the summer celebration during Calvary Kids church programming on August 31st!

Our Calvary Kids Summer Events give you an easy opportunity to INVITE families in your every day to come ALONG with you and give you time for FUN relationship building.
At each event there will be a simple family activity for you to take part in that will give you an easy and fun way to have gospel conversations with the families you have invited!
