Community Life
Community requires active engagement within the local church body, as well as the local community. Here at Calvary, we encourage one another in our personal walks with Christ, while fostering our gifts for the purpose of His Kingdom. In addition to our church community, God has chosen us to pursue and support the people of our local community. In order to be a light to those around us and bear fruit, we need to have an active presence in the community—schools, businesses, other Christian communities, etc.
Backpack Project
Join us as we partner with Central Detroit Christian and Send International to provide backpacks and school supplies for kids in our community!
Hope Clinic Tuesday Meal
Each week, Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti coordinates 5 hot meals for people in the community experiencing food insecurity. Join us the FIRST TUESDAY of EVERY MONTH in their meal distribution. There is a cooking crew and serving crew. (Minimum age requirement is 15 years of age.)
