Calvary Campout
August 9-10, 2025
What is the Calvary Campout? We’re opening up nearly 20 acres of fields, woods, and creek on our property for a night of camping with your friends and family. We’ll have designated areas for tents and Trailers/RVs. We’ll have activities available throughout the afternoon and evening and we’ll wrap up the night with a time of songs, stories, and s’mores around the campfire.
Who’s Invited? This event is open to the whole community! If you’re reading this, you’re invited!
Where is the Campout? We’re located at 43065 Joy Road in Canton. We’ll be camping in the fields on the south end of our property, and if you’re really adventurous you can stake out some space in the woods for hammocks or a small tent.
Activites: 9-Square in the Air, Yard Games (Corn Hole, Can Jam, Spikeball), Kickball, open space for frisbee, soccer, and basketball, fire pits (Bring your own s’mores or pie irons), and a time of songs, stories, and s’mores around the fire after dark.
What about food?
Saturday Night: We’ll have fire pits available if you want to roast hot dogs, marshmallows, or make hobo pies/pudgy pies. You’re also welcome to bring your own grill or camp stove. Not much of a cook? We’ll have hot dogs, chips, and watermelon available (use the form above to RSVP). We’re also going to have an ice cream truck stop by on Saturday night for those who want a sweet treat.
Sunday Morning: Join us for a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. We’ll be firing up the griddles and serving up pancakes and sausages. Gluten-free pancakes made on a dedicated gluten-free griddle will also be available.
What does it cost? This event is free! Bring a few bucks if you want something from the ice cream truck! (The ice cream truck also accepts digital payments). Dinner will be available Saturday Night for $3 per person and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will be served on Sunday morning for $3 per person. Cash and digital payments will be accepted at the event.
What if I don’t want to camp? Just want to come for the activities and fellowship Saturday afternoon and evening? Go for it! Want to come for breakfast on Sunday? Awesome! Feel free to join us for as much or as little as you like!
What is the bathroom situation? We’ll have indoor bathrooms available at PCA for the duration of the event.
Trailer/RV Info: Space for RVs/trailers will be available. Generators will NOT be allowed due to noise concerns. If you plan to bring a Trailer or RV please send a message to Jordan using the contact form so we can make plans to accommodate your vehicle.
