Disciple U Women - Bible Studies

We have two options for women on Tuesday mornings

COLOSSIANS and PHILEMON

Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae encourages believers to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ—He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We have been buried with Him and raised to life with Him as new creations, knit together in love. We will use Raised Together by Gloria Furman explore themes of fundamental Christian doctrine through verse-by-verse study of Colossians. Then we will use a folder with various resources included to study Philemon verse-by-verse and how that letter relates to and reveals truth we learn in Colossians. Together we’ll learn more of who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith.

Tuesday morning, 9:15-11:30am with leaders, Bobbie Lee Barr and Leanne Windle

MARK

One of the most important questions you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? A good man, a teacher, a prophet, or the Son of God? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it is more action-packed and fast-paced than the other three Gospel records. Rather than focusing on what people said about Jesus, Mark shows you what Jesus actually did. As you learn to carefully observe Mark's report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about whom He claimed to be. His miracles demonstrated His authority over sickness and infirmity, spiritual darkness, dead religion, threats from nature, and even death itself.
