There are so many wonderful songs for worship out there, spanning decades and centuries of the Christian faith. Many of these songs have deeply impacted our faith throughout our lives: teaching us about who God is and our relationship with Him, helping us learn and remember Scripture, comforting us in times of uncertainty, reminding us of our eternal hope, and more! No matter our age or length of time following Jesus, we each can probably think of a song or two that has been particularly meaningful to us along the journey. Those songs might have been written sometime in this current century, in the last 50 years, or even hundreds of years ago!

To celebrate some of these wonderful songs and the stories behind them, the entire Calvary family is invited to Hymnsing+. “Hymnsing” because we definitely intend to sing some hymns, and “+” because we also intend to sing some songs that might not traditionally be considered hymns. Ultimately, we want gather together and sing YOUR favorite songs for worship, no matter what they are or when they were written.

We plan to gather in Room 303 to sing and worship the Lord together. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. But, in order to build our setlist, we need your help! The deadline for song submissions has passed!
