Calvary is excited to again be supporting Central Detroit Christian’s Pride For Parents Christmas Store. This event provides parents of families served by CDC the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts for their children at dramatically discounted rates and to take pride in the ability to choose gifts and provide Christmas joy for their children.

This year, we are hoping to collect 100 toys, 50 packs of underwear, and 50 packs of socks to donate to the Christmas Store. Look for the Pride For Parents Christmas tree in the Lobby from November 9-December 7 and grab a tag noting a specific item to purchase and return. All items are due back to CBC by Sunday, December 7.

If you’d like to get a little more hands-on in partnering with the Christmas Store onsite at CDC, you can join the fun by volunteering at the Christmas Store Event. Help is needed with setting up the store on Friday, December 12 in the evening, and assisting guests with shopping on Saturday, December 13 during the day.
