“Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Jesus
As we help people follow Jesus together, we strive to live out Jesus’ teaching to love our neighbors by loving our literal neighbors - the people who live, work, and play right next to us! As a church, we’re cultivating relationship with the Windsor Park neighborhood (located to the south of our property), and we would also challenge ourselves individually to build relationships with those in our literal neighborhoods.
Upcoming Neighboring Opportunity
This fall, we’re hosting S’mores At The Barn - a relaxed, hang-out night for people to enjoy s’mores, play some games, and get better acquainted. It will take place during Wednesday Family Night and all our regular Wednesday ministries will be joining the fun. We’ll be inviting our friends from Windsor Park, and the Calvary Family is encouraged to invite neighbors and friends to attend as well. People will have a chance to mix and mingle, have some fun, and learn more about different ministry offerings at Calvary.

There are 3 ways to support the S’mores At The Barn event:
Help us invite our friends living in Windsor Park. We’ll have two evening opportunities to join a group in canvasing the large neighborhood with door-hanger flyers and chatting with people.
2. Prepare for purposeful conversations. Review this Conversation Card or pick one up on Sunday to help get ready to have meaningful conversations with new friends. We hope to emphasize relationship, curiosity, listening, and genuine care.
3. Invite your own neighbors. Whether this be a literal neighbor who lives near your physical home, or someone you work with or share a hobby with - this will be a great low-pressure event to invite someone who might be curious about church or who just might enjoy a fun, free, fall evening activity.
