Mission: Calvary Men is part of CBC’s mission to help people follow Jesus together. Our desire is for men to spur each other on toward spiritual maturity and an ever-growing faith and trust in Jesus, equipping them to love and lead their families, church and communities to the glory of God.

Why Now? The Holy Spirit is moving among the men of Calvary. This has been observed through the growing number of men searching for a deeper relationship with the Lord and each other. Our desire is to provide various opportunities for men to engage and grow in their faith. Listed below are just a few ideas to assess how the men of Calvary desire to increase engagement. Your feedback will assist in ensuring appropriate resources are available.

PRAYER GROUPS - As God’s children, we have the blessing to enter His throne room and intercede for others. These groups are designed to intentionally set aside time on a regular cadence to gather and pray for each other, Calvary, and our community.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES - Weekly gatherings of 4-10 brothers-in-Christ where we will study God’s word, hold each other accountable, and pray for each other. Meetings will be held in homes of group hosts/leaders. If you are interested in being a group host/leader, please also put a star next to the check box so we can discuss details further.

ENCOURAGEMENT PARTNERS (accountability partners) - One on one discussions to share our walk with Christ; struggles and victories alike with a trusted brother. Discussions would be a time of encouragement and sharing with a brother in Christ, designed to strengthen our relationship with each other, but more importantly with the Lord and for His glory.

INDIVIDUAL QUIET TIME - We have the amazing gift of God’s word, yet we often get “too busy”, or more realistically too distracted, to engage with our Creator through His word and through prayer. We want to be a community of men that spur each other towards spiritual maturity and believe whole-heartedly in this practice.
