Be That House 2020

As we move into the Fall holiday season, we’ve extended the “Be That House” challenge to the Calvary Family with the hopes that each of us could find a way to share love and engage with those specifically in our local neighborhoods. It’s our hope that the homes represented by those in the Calvary Family would be stand-outs in their neighborhood this Fall – whether through extravagant décor, hospitality, or simply by going the extra mile to be warm and welcoming to your neighbors throughout the autumn season. From now until Thanksgiving, each of us are challenged to be a light representing Christ to those in our neighborhoods.

We’ve outlined some specific ideas of how you can “Be That House” this fall. We’ve got ideas at varying levels of contact engagement, ideas for those living in neighborhoods and apartment complexes, and things to do on your own or with a group of friends. Best of all, we want to help provide the resources for whatever you decide to do. Whether it be firewood for your neighborhood bonfire, lawn bags to rake a neighbor’s lawn, or flyers for a “boo-bag”, we want to help! We'd love to support or walk you through whichever option is the best fit for you!
